Manage workflow locks safely

Published · Last updated

Review workflow activity in Agiflow, then use a connected AI assistant to acquire, check, and release locks that prevent duplicate work on the same project resource.

At a glance

The web app shows workflow status and history. It does not provide controls to acquire, check, release, update, or delete locks. Use the supported workflow MCP tools for those operations, and always release a lock as completed or failed when the run ends.

Review workflow activity in Agiflow

Open a project and select Workflows. Use the All, Running, Completed, and Failed filters to confirm whether a run is active and review its name, status, duration, and start time. Select Refresh when you need the latest state.

Prerequisites and steps

  1. Sign in to Agiflow and open the intended project.
  2. Select Workflows in the project view.
  3. Select Running before starting overlapping work.
  4. Compare the workflow name and status with the work you intend to run.
  5. Select Refresh to verify the latest result after an assistant releases a lock.

A running row confirms that workflow activity is visible. A completed or failed row confirms that the assistant released the lock with a terminal status.

UI limitation:

The Workflows view is read-only. If no workflow appears, refresh and confirm the selected project. Use a connected assistant for lock mutations and use its returned workflow ID for follow-up operations.
